The Hotel Paisano would love to host your wedding or other event.
Guest accommodations may be blocked at the Hotel Paisano for family, friends and members of the wedding party. A signed contract with valid credit card information is required to hold guest rooms and/or public spaces.
You may block any number of rooms and suites for your wedding guests. Our hotel has a total of 41 rooms and suites of various sizes and styles. A descriptive room list is available upon request. As host or hostess, you may choose to assign rooms and suites to your guests or have them choose their own accommodations when making their reservations. Room rates are not discounted for wedding groups.
A 60 day release date is required with all group blocks and events. This date is negotiable when necessary.
Our public spaces that are available for private rental include our ballroom, courtyard, fireplace lounge and sun porch.
The Hotel Paisano Ballroom can seat up to up to up to 100 people for ceremonies, dinners or receptions. The ballroom may be entered through the lobby/lounge area or from the restaurant. The ballroom also opens to our covered swimming pool area. During the off-season, when it is not heated, we have a waterfall that runs into the swimming pool. Rental of the ballroom includes tables and chairs for up to 100; our standard linens, which are short, white, square and unstarched; a speaker’s podium and projection screen, if requested. We do not provide A/V equipment.
Our central courtyard is furnished with nine round tables and chairs as well as five other sitting areas all around a tiered water fountain. Iron archways lead from the Texas Street sidewalk into the courtyard and from there guests may enter the hotel lobby, restaurant, and gift shop or fitness center. The archway gates may be closed during private parties. Standing balconies and patios overlook the courtyard from rooms and suites on the second floor. Additional seating may be placed in the courtyard for larger dinner parties. Temporary bars may be set up to serve outdoor parties. Musical performers may play outside or inside for dancing and entertainment.
The sun porch is located at the west end of the mezzanine level and overlooks the hotel’s swimming pool. It is perfect for small group meals, meetings or parties. The room is equipped with a working bar that may be stocked through our restaurant for private events. The room can be furnished with sofas for lounging or tables and chairs for meetings or meals.
The fireplace lounge is located just off the hotel lobby and is the entrance to the ballroom or the indoor entrance to the restaurant. It has been the location of small wedding ceremonies, receptions and cocktail parties.
Other private spaces within the hotel that naturally lend themselves to wedding events include suite 211 (The Rock Hudson Suite) and suite 205. The Rock Hudson Suite includes a large rooftop terrace that faces south and east. The terrace is furnished with outdoor dining furniture and sitting areas. This is a perfect spot for cocktail and dinner parties. Suite 205 has a small rooftop terrace that overlooks the swimming pool with outdoor dining and a sitting area. There is a wooden gate between the two terraces that may be opened for guests to mingle if both suites are used.
All foods served within the public areas of our property must be catered through our restaurant kitchen. We are happy to provide sample menus for breakfasts, brunches, lunches, hors d’euovres, buffets and plated dinners. Our staff is open to suggestions and/or special requests. All alcohol served in public areas must also be purchased and served through our bar per TABC regulations.
I hope this information is helpful as you begin planning your events. If you have any other questions, would like any other information or details, please do not hesitate to contact Hotel Manager Vicki Barge by calling the front desk or emailing email@example.com.
